Program
Day 1: Agadir or Marrakech – Foum Zguid
- Morning Departure: Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from your hotel in Agadir or Marrakech.
- Arrival at Foum Zguid:
- Welcome at a charming riad.
- Enjoy a delicious tajine dinner.
- Rest and relax for the night in peaceful surroundings.
Day 2: Foum Zguid – Oasis El Grisim
- Morning Departure: Head out in a 4×4 through the Iriki National Park.
- Journey Highlights:
- Traverse vast stony plains framed by plateau-shaped mountains.
- Cross the desert plains of the ancient dry lake.
- Arrival at Oasis El Grisim:
- Experience the tranquility and lush greenery of the oasis.
- Discover nomadic traditions, such as sand bread making and the tea ritual.
- Spend the night in a bivouac under the stars.
Day 3: Oasis El Grisim – Erg Chegaga
- Morning Trek: Walk for about 3 hours with a camel caravan carrying equipment and supplies.
- Scenic Route: Marvel at the wild and preserved beauty of the dunes.
- Afternoon: Relax and adapt to the calm rhythm of desert life.
- Evening: Enjoy dinner and a peaceful night in a desert bivouac under the celestial sky.
Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Dunes
- Morning Departure: Walk for 2-3 hours to explore a new dune area.
- Desert Exploration: Observe the diverse flora and fauna, unique to the Sahara.
- Evening:
- Camp setup at the new site.
- Share stories and nomadic traditions around the fire, accompanied by music.
Day 5: Dunes – Erg El Ghoule
- Morning Trek: Walk for about 3 hours to reach Erg El Ghoule.
- Relaxation:
- Enjoy a traditional tea ceremony.
- Watch the sunset from the large dune.
- Evening: Savor a hearty tajine dinner and spend your last night under the starry sky.
Day 6: Erg El Ghoule – Foum Zguid – Agadir or Marrakech
- Morning Departure: Return to Foum Zguid in a 4×4, crossing the vast desert plains and rocky trails.
- Arrival: Reach Foum Zguid around 11 am.
- Transfer: Drive back to your hotel in Agadir or Marrakech.
